Can you trade Eko in Aniimo?: Yes. Aniimo can be traded between friends in game. Both players meet in the world, and the trade needs a friendship at the affinity level the form requires: level 2 for a standard form, level 4 for regional and weather forms. What do I need before a Eko trade?: You must own at least two of the form you give away, be friends in game with your partner, and have raised affinity to the level the form needs. A traded Aniimo is locked from trading again for 30 days.
Is it faster to trade for Eko or to hatch or catch one?: Eko spawns in Forest of Falling Stars, so catching one is often quicker than raising affinity with a stranger. Trading wins when you already have a friend at the required level, or when you want a form that does not spawn where you play.
