Finding a trade partner on your server
Why trades are server-bound, how the box and matches work, what to do when nobody matches yet, and how to bring a partner from Discord in one tap.

Trading needs two people on one server, friends in game, at the right affinity. Finding that person is the whole problem, and it is the problem this site is built around.
Set your server first
Matching only looks at players on your server, so it is the first thing the site asks for. If the launch server list changes your server's name, update it on your profile; a wrong server means an empty matches page.
Mark your box honestly
Tap what you actually have two of and would give away, and what you actually want. A spare is an open offer by default, which is what makes early matching work: someone who wants your spare is a match even before you know what you would take. Press and hold a spare to narrow it to particular creatures, name its form, or add a note.
Read the matches page
Perfect two-way swaps come first. After them, one-sided matches: players who want your spare, or who have your want. A one-sided match is still a trade waiting to happen; propose it and pick the missing half from their stickers. Online players float to the top, and the ticket shows the hours you both play.
When it is empty
Three things fill an empty server:
- Wants are watches. The moment someone lists the spare you marked, you get an email.
- Posts reach further. A looking-for post is also a listing, and it shows on the creature's market page for anyone who lands there from a search.
- Bring your partner. Your profile has an invite link that puts your server in for them. Send it to whoever you already trade with on Discord. Two people on one server is a market.
Pair up before you need to
Affinity takes days, and the Friends tab is for starting early. Pair with a player who wants to grind it, do the daily gift and Home visit, and when one of you lists a spare the other wants, the gate is already open.
Questions
- Can I trade with someone on another server?
- No test has shown cross-server trading. Friends lists and meet-ups are per server, so Aniimo Trade only matches players on the same one.
- What if nobody on my server has what I want?
- Mark it as a want anyway. Every want is a watch, and the first spare listed on your server emails you. A post reaches players who have not filled their box yet.
- How do I bring a friend to the site?
- Your profile has an invite link that lands them on your server with one tap. Send it to whoever you already trade with on Discord.
