The daily swap limit and the 30-day trade lock
How many trades you can do a day in Aniimo, why a traded creature is locked for 30 days, and how to plan trades around both.
Reported by players of the closed betas. Re-checked against the live game from 16 Sept 2026; anything that changes is corrected here first.
Two limits shape how often you can trade: a daily allowance of swap attempts, and a 30-day lock on any creature that has just changed hands.
The daily allowance
Every trade costs both players a swap attempt for that day. Beta players described a small daily number; nobody has published the exact figure, and it may change at launch. What it means in practice:
- A trade that falls through still cost an attempt if it got as far as the exchange. Agree everything in chat first.
- If you have several trades lined up, do the one with the highest-value creature first.
- The allowance is per player, so a partner who has used theirs cannot trade with you today even if you have attempts left.
The 30-day lock
Once an Aniimo is traded, it cannot be traded again for 30 days. This is the rule that makes a round trip a month long and makes flipping impossible.
- Check a creature's lock before you offer it. A spare you received last week is not tradeable yet.
- If a partner offers something they only just got, the swap cannot happen until the lock clears. Ask when it ends.
- Mark spares in your box only once they are tradeable, or note the date. Matches that cannot complete waste both players' attempts and patience.
Planning around both
Treat trades as a weekly rhythm, not a daily grind. Line up the partner, reach the affinity level, confirm the creatures are unlocked, then meet once and spend the attempt. On Aniimo Trade the handshake keeps that order for you: nothing is marked done until both players confirm the swap happened in the game.
Questions
- How many times can you trade per day in Aniimo?
- Each player spends a daily swap attempt on each trade. Beta reports describe a small daily allowance rather than unlimited trading; the exact number is re-checked at launch.
- Why is my traded Aniimo locked?
- A traded Aniimo cannot be traded again for 30 days. This stops the same creature bouncing between accounts.
- Does the lock apply to round trips?
- Yes. A lent creature cannot be returned until its 30 days are up.
